Wild Life World Zoo Details
While visiting the grandparents during Christmas we decided what better way to spend the day then at a zoo. This place is open 365 days a year!!! Tons of animals and stuff to see. By far the best thing to do there is feed the giraffes. There is a log ride, train ride, boat ride, merry go round and a sky lift that let's you get a birds eye view of the park. If you are in the area I recommend you stop in if you have a day.
In addition to the main zoo in town, there is also a wildlife zoo in Phoenix. It is called Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium and it is actually just west of Phoenix in a community called Litchfield Park. The Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium boasts Arizona's largest collection of exotic animals. Most of them are from Africa. Actually, you'll find very few Arizona species at Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium. What you will find is wild cats, monkeys, lots of exotic birds and more, in an open natural environment .This is a perfect size Zoo and Aquarium. Large enough to keep us busy for a few hours, but small enough for my child not to get bored. Log Flume ride was fun, feeding the Sting Rays was cool, train ride gets you up close witht he animals, they have a cool sky ride, and a relaxing Boat ride. Animals are in close proximity to walking paths, not spread out to far,so not alot of unnecessay walking.
